Course Description
Integrated Enterprise Excellence (IEE) Black Belt training supplements traditional Lean Six Sigma tools training. In this training, an IEE Master Black will provide eight one-to-two-hour Zoom sessions with the student at an agreed-to time.
Students MUST complete significant pre-work assignments before each of these Zoom sessions. The pre-work of each lesson session will consist of reading sections of books (included as part of this training), reading articles, watching videos, and answering quiz questions.
The Zoom sessions will focus on questions that the student has about their pre-work assignments and how the described methodology in each lesson is applicable in their Organization.

IEE Black Belt Training Objectives and Overview
There may be references in this IEE Black Belt training as IEE EPRS Expert Training. This IEE Black Belt training (or referenced IEE EPRS Expert training) is for those who have a basic understanding of Lean Six Sigma tools.
This course provides the details for understanding the benefits and implementing the IEE system with its Enterprise Performance Reporting System (EPRS) metrics reporting app software, its Enterprise Improvement Plan (EIP) methodology, and enhanced DMAIC improvement methodology.
The EPRS-app is a stand-alone product coded in R and is not a Minitab add-in.
IEE Black Belt Training Requirements
- Each student needs a copy of Management 2.0, Leadership System 2.0, Integrated Enterprise Excellence Volume II, and Integrated Enterprise Excellence Volume III.
- Each student needs access to statistical analysis software, e.g., Minitab, MoreSteam’s Engine Room, or an Excel statistical-analysis add-in.
- Each student must complete pre-reading/video assignments before the next one-on-one or group training session.
- Attendees and their managers need to agree to consider doing things differently when presented evidence that shows why some traditional taught concepts in MBA, SPC, and Lean Six Sigma training have underlying issues.
- Students need to attempt to answer all training questions, making notes of described techniques that require further explanation to respond appropriately at the next virtual meeting. Students can e-mail questions to their instructor for assistance.
- Training is intense. Students must allow at least eight hours of reading and video watching before the first training session and six hours between each following training module.
